Privacy Policy
This page explains what data MapLab Tech and MapLab Survey collect, what we don't, and how we protect it. We wrote it to be plain. If anything is unclear, write to maplabtech@gmail.com and we'll explain.
1. Data that stays on your device
Every measurement you make in MapLab Survey — points, lines, polygons, areas, photos, notes, GPS tracks — is stored locally on your phone by default. We never see this data unless you explicitly turn on cloud sync.
2. Optional cloud backup
If you sign in with Apple or Google to enable cloud sync, your projects are uploaded to our cloud storage so you can access them from another device. This data is:
- Encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Linked only to your account identifier
- Never sold, never shared with third parties
- Deleted from our servers within 30 days of account deletion
You can use the app fully offline in Guest mode without ever creating an account.
3. Permissions we ask for
- Location: required to draw points at your current position, record GPS tracks, and run stake-out. We only use location while the app is active.
- Camera: optional — only used if you attach photos to features or use AR stake-out.
- Photo library: optional — only used if you attach existing photos.
- Bluetooth: optional — only used to connect external GNSS / RTK receivers.
- Notifications: optional — used for cloud sync updates and project sharing alerts.
4. Analytics
We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which features are used and to fix crashes. We do not collect personally identifying information. We do not use ad networks or social-media trackers.
5. Map tiles and third-party services
When you load a basemap, the tile request goes to the relevant map provider (Apple Maps, OpenStreetMap, ESRI). Those providers may log your IP address per their own privacy policies. We do not see or store those requests.
6. Your rights
You can:
- Export all your projects at any time as KML, KMZ, DXF, GeoJSON, CSV or TXT.
- Delete your account, which removes all server-side data within 30 days.
- Request a copy of any account-linked data by emailing us.
- Use the app entirely in Guest mode with zero data leaving your device.
7. Children
MapLab Survey is rated 4+ but is designed for adult professional use. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and announce the change in the app on next launch.

1. Cihazda kalan veriler
MapLab Survey'de yaptığın her ölçüm — nokta, çizgi, poligon, alan, fotoğraf, not, GPS izi — varsayılan olarak telefonunda yerel olarak saklanır. Bulut senkronizasyonunu açıkça etkinleştirmediğin sürece bu verileri görmüyoruz.
2. İsteğe bağlı bulut yedekleme
Bulut senkronizasyonunu açmak için Apple veya Google ile giriş yaparsan, projelerin başka bir cihazdan erişebilesin diye bulut depolamamıza yüklenir. Bu veriler:
- Aktarımda (TLS) ve depolamada şifrelidir
- Yalnızca hesap kimliğinle ilişkilendirilir
- Asla satılmaz, asla üçüncü taraflarla paylaşılmaz
- Hesap silindikten sonra 30 gün içinde sunucularımızdan silinir
Hiç hesap açmadan Misafir modu ile uygulamayı tamamen çevrimdışı kullanabilirsin.
3. İstediğimiz izinler
- Konum: Mevcut konumunda nokta çizmek, GPS izi kaydetmek ve aplikasyon yapmak için gerekli. Konumu yalnızca uygulama açıkken kullanırız.
- Kamera: İsteğe bağlı — yalnızca özelliklere fotoğraf eklerken veya AR aplikasyon kullanırken devreye girer.
- Fotoğraf kütüphanesi: İsteğe bağlı — yalnızca mevcut fotoğrafları eklerken kullanılır.
- Bluetooth: İsteğe bağlı — yalnızca harici GNSS / RTK alıcısı bağlamak için.
- Bildirimler: İsteğe bağlı — bulut senkronizasyonu güncellemeleri ve proje paylaşım uyarıları için.
4. Analitik
Hangi özelliklerin kullanıldığını anlamak ve çökme hatalarını gidermek için gizliliğe saygılı, minimum düzeyde analitik kullanıyoruz. Kişisel olarak tanımlanabilir bilgi toplamıyoruz. Reklam ağları veya sosyal medya izleyicileri kullanmıyoruz.
5. Harita karoları ve üçüncü taraf hizmetler
Bir altlık haritası yüklediğinde, karo isteği ilgili harita sağlayıcısına gider (Apple Maps, OpenStreetMap, ESRI). Bu sağlayıcılar kendi gizlilik politikalarına göre IP adresini kayıt altına alabilir. Biz bu istekleri görmüyor veya saklamıyoruz.
6. Haklarınız
Her zaman şunları yapabilirsin:
- Tüm projelerini KML, KMZ, DXF, GeoJSON, CSV veya TXT olarak dışa aktar.
- Hesabını sil — 30 gün içinde sunucu tarafındaki tüm verilerin kaldırılır.
- Hesabınla ilişkili verinin bir kopyasını e-posta ile talep et.
- Uygulamayı tamamen Misafir modunda kullan — cihazdan hiç veri çıkmaz.
7. Çocuklar
MapLab Survey 4+ derecelendirmesine sahiptir ancak yetişkin profesyonel kullanım için tasarlanmıştır. 13 yaş altındaki çocuklardan bilerek veri toplamayız.
8. Bu politikadaki değişiklikler
Bu politikayı önemli ölçüde değiştirirsek, üstteki "Son güncelleme" tarihini yenileriz ve değişikliği uygulamanın bir sonraki açılışında duyururuz.
