A link is not a deliverable
Sharing a link is the fastest way to show someone where you are, and the worst way to hand over survey data. Links expire, get forwarded and lose their context.
Say what the number is
Whatever you send, state the coordinate system, the date and the method. Without that the recipient assumes the figure is final, and that assumption is what generates disputes.
Use files for work, links for orientation
Send KML or DXF when someone has to act on the data, and a link only when they just need to find the place.
Keep a copy
Whatever leaves your phone, keep the original in the project so you can reproduce exactly what you sent.
