The chain, not the phone

Centimetre work on a phone comes from the receiver, the correction stream and the check, not from the handset. The phone runs the software and stores the data; the accuracy arrives over Bluetooth.

What each part does

The external GNSS receiver produces the position, an NTRIP correction service removes most of the atmospheric and orbital error, and the app records the result with its accuracy figure attached.

Both accept standard NMEA over Bluetooth, so the platform matters far less than the receiver and the correction source.
